Uppbyggd kring dess revolutionerande nya wavetable-syntes, är Argon8 ett barn till den hyllade Modal 002. Den sistnämnda har sedan introduktionen blivit en måttstock för wavetablesyntar och är fortfarande uppskattad av artister och kompositörer världen över. Argon8 är en ny synt som erbjuder många av funktionerna och möjligheterna från 002 i ett litet och prisvärt format. 

Den helt nya syntesmotorn möjliggör skapandet av mycket komplexa ljud som tidigare varit oåtkomliga i den här prisklassen. Den kostnadsfria redigeringsapplikationen ModalApp finns för MacOSX, Windows, iOS och Android, och det finns även VST3- och AU-pluggar för integration med din DAW.
